Located in southwest Missouri, the Webb City R-7 school district has received the highest honor from the state by being "Accredited with Distinction" for outstanding academic achievement. The band program has been a part of the curriculum for more than 65 years. The Cardinal Pride Band has won numerous state and festival awards over the past several years. They were recently a 2006 participant in the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California.
